Governance
SSJ is governed by a board and leadership committee. The organisation is committed to ethical leadership, participatory decision-making, and survivor-centred practices.
Our mission is to support victims and survivors of war crimes, crimes against humanity, and severe human rights violations in Syria.
Our staff are based in Syria, Japan, and Europe, working collaboratively across field offices in Damascus and Aleppo, and at our headquarters in Tokyo.
