Governance SSJ is governed by a board and leadership committee. The organization is committed to ethical leadership, participatory decision-making, and survivor-centered practices. Our mission is to support victims and survivors of war crimes, crimes against humanity, and severe human rights violations in Syria.
Our staff are based in Syria, Japan, and Berlin, operating collaboratively across field offices in Damascus and Aleppo, and our headquarters in Tokyo.
